When you sign your student up, they are enrolling in the whole course. The cost you see is the cost of the entire course, not just one class.

If your student has never taken an intro course with us before then that’s where they should start.

Students must complete the associated intro course before enrolling in the continuing class for their age. Workshops/Camps and younger age intro courses do not count for this requirement.

If they are on the age cutoff you can choose either way depending on the student’s maturity and skill level.

Students should come prepared for class with close toed shoes and long hair put up in a hat or hair tie.

On the first day students will need appropriately fitting safety glasses and a dust mask. You can bring your own or purchase these from us on the first day for $5 each, $10 total. These will stay at the woodshop to avoid misplacing them between classes.

Yes! Our shop has a lobby area with seating and viewing windows into the woodshop where you can observe your student learning. You are also free to drop off and pickup your student from class.

Parents are not allowed into the woodshop unless given specific permission by the instructor.

We are an approved Arkansas EFA Vendor. As a Co-Curricular provider we are not limited to 25% like Extra-Curricular programs. Our courses introduce students to skills they can use in a variety of different trades. (Carpentry, Framing, other Building and Technical Occupations)

Simply select the appropriate course and your preferred timeslot. Then proceed through the enrollment process.

After enrollment, we provide a receipt you can submit for reimbursement.

If you are unable to pay upfront, you may select “Pay Later” at checkout. We will supply you an invoice you can submit to ClassWallet for direct pay.

Yes! If you would like siblings to be in the same class and they would normally fall into different age classes, we require the older sibling to enroll in the younger sibling’s class. Of course they can enroll in different classes instead.

Our education philosophy is to teach your student the skills necessary to enable them to create on their own. As such we normally don’t promote the projects each course will contain.

For our Into courses we have set projects they complete teaching skills appropriate for their level.

For our continuing courses, we teach a unique project each time the class is offered. This highlights new skills and familiarity with different tools.

You can check out photos of previous projects to get an idea of what your student will do.

It’s our goal to have every student who wants to participate in woodshop have the opportunity to do so! If there are financial limitations and you are unable cover the cost upfront, reach out to us and we can figure out a plan together. If necessary, we can setup a custom payment plan.
